Today, I have a couple of bands to add to Twitch's budding list of Indie All-Stars (nice picks, lady!) When I think of the best artists of the genre, several names pop up time and time again.

1) Fleet Foxes. Their sound is reminiscent of colorful minstrels, singing tunes to travelers and kings alike. Their lush acoustic accompaniment is matched perfectly by their wise, sometimes haunting vocals. Their lyrics are something to be cherished, people.

2) Jenn Grant. This Canadian jem is an essential part of every daily jam sesh. Her voice reminds me of a small bar, in a small town, with stale beer and a caring bartender. Overall, it's a warm and welcoming environment.

3) Timber Timbre. This man is a legend. Canadian born (hell yes) and dripping with talent, Little Timber here is the voice of your sweetest dreams. With lyrics that carry more depth than your mother's biggest cookbook, he will strum on his guitar and make you beg for more. Every-damn-time.
